Abstract:
The method and device suitable for carrying out same are used to produce polymer laminations or strand-shaped applications on a substrate (11), in particular FIPFG gaskets, wherein a reactive, foaming polymer material (10) is applied to the substrate. In order to achieve fast full curing/hardening of the material applied to the substrate, after being applied to the substrate (11) the polymer material (10) is subjected to a corona or plasma treatment, for which purpose the device comprises a plasma generator (12), which with the plasma head thereof passes over the material applied to the substrate and thereby causes fast foaming of the material to the final height and a tack-free surface of the lamination after only a short time.
