Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a preform from a fiber mass (8), which comprises at least two fiber layers (1), in a draping device (2) comprising a draping mold (3) and means that can be moved toward the draping mold (3) to drape or fix the fiber mass (8) on the contour of the draping mold (3). The invention is characterized in that at least one fiber layer (1) is set oscillating during the draping. The invention further relates to a device for producing a preform from a fiber mass (8), which comprises at least two fiber layers (1), in a draping device (2) comprising a draping mold (3) and means that can be moved toward the draping mold (3) to drape or fix the fiber mass (8) on the contour of the draping mold (3). The device according to the invention is characterized in that at least one excitation unit (6) for generating oscillations in at least one fiber layer (1) is arranged in or around the draping device (2).
