Abstract:
A method for producing elastomer/steel wire composites, comprising the steps of drawing a steel wire through a plurality of wire drawing dies, and coating the steel wire with an elastomer within 30 seconds after the steel wire has passed through the final wire drawing die. A device for producing elastomer/steel wire composites, comprising a wire drawing device for drawing a steel wire through a plurality of wire drawing dies, and a coater for coating the steel wire with an elastomer, the coating being completed within 30 seconds after the steel wire has passed through the final wire drawing die of the wire drawing device.
