Abstract:
In a method for evaluating the peripheral shape of a press formed item according to the present invention, the peripheral shape of a press formed item workpiece bottom dead center shape model 17, which was acquired by mechanical analysis of a process of clamping, to the forming bottom dead center, an actual press formed item 11 that has actually been press formed and experienced springback, is acquired (S3) as the peripheral shape of the actual press formed item 11, a press formed item analysis model 21 is calculated (S5) by elastoplastic mechanical analysis of the process of press forming the actual press formed item 11, the peripheral shape thereof at forming bottom dead center is also acquired (S7), and the peripheral shape of the actual press formed item 11 and the peripheral shape of the press formed item analysis model 21 are compared and respectively evaluated (S9).
