Disclosed are a method and device for providing an application-based nail service using a platform. The method for providing an application-based nail service using a platform according to the present invention comprises the steps of: extracting user information, required for providing the nail service to a user, by acquiring image information about the hands of the user and preference information related to a preferred shape of nails from a terminal of the user subscribed to the platform; providing a user-customized nail service to the user via the platform on the basis of the extracted user information and information stored in a plurality of databases created in advance in order to provide the nail service on the platform; identifying the characteristics of a relationship formed on the basis of interactions between the user and the platform and providing nail service-related user-customized content for the user on the basis of the identified characteristics of the relationship; and updating content registered to the platform for the nail service, the content being updated on the basis of history information related to the use histories of a plurality of users using the nail service via the platform.
