Abstract:
The embodiments of the present description provide a method and a device for reducing the gas temperature of an internal combustion engine. The method comprises: conveying a first gas into an air cylinder within a first gas intake duration, wherein the first gas is an oxidizing agent; conveying a second gas into the air cylinder within a second gas intake duration, wherein the second gas is a mixture of an oxidizing agent and a high-evaporation-enthalpy liquid; and conveying a third gas into the air cylinder within a third gas intake duration, wherein at least part of the third gas is the first gas.
