Abstract:

The present invention facilitates removal of foreign matter from preforms. While continuously conveying an inverted preform (1), the mouth (2a) of which is facing downwards, filtered air is blown into the preform (1) from the mouth (2a) of the preform (1) and air is simultaneously sucked from the side of the mouth (2a) of the preform (1), facilitating discharge of foreign matter to the outside of the preform (1) using the air flow or the weight of the foreign matter itself.
