Abstract:
An objective of the present application is to provide a method for removing a friend relationship. The method comprises: in response to a friend relationship building event between a first user and a second user, starting a timer for the friend relationship; and before the timer reaches a timing duration corresponding to the timer, in response to a session interaction event corresponding to a session between the first user and the second user, terminating the timer; otherwise, if the timer reaches the timing duration corresponding to the timer, cancelling the presentation of the session, and/or, removing the friend relationship. In the present application, when no session interaction event occurs after the friend relationship is established between two users, the session between the two users is automatically hidden and/or the friend relationship of the two users is removed, such that social application interfaces of the users are more refreshing, the social efficiency and the social experience of the users can be greatly improved, and the communication security between the users can also be ensured.
