Abstract:

Provided is a method and device for rounded forming that can easily make rounded formations of food products with long shapes into circular shapes or C-shapes. This method for rounded forming of food products carries out rounded forming into a circular shape in a closed state by connecting both end sides (3A, 3B) of a long shaped food product (3) or into a C-shape in an open state such that both of the ends (3A, 3B) face each other. The method for rounded forming of food products is provided with various steps: a step (a) for affixing one end side (3A) of the long shaped food product (3) to a rotatable core member (43); a step (b) for applying pressing pressure to the food product (3) toward the core member (43) side by a pressing pressure roller (29) that can move freely into proximity and away relative to the core member (43) when the core member (43) is rotated and the food product (3) is wrapped around and rounded on the core member (43); and a step (c) for releasing the affixing of the food product (3) from the core member (43) after rounded forming into the desired shape by winding the food product (3) on the core member (43) and removing the core member (43) relative to the rounded formed food product (3).
