The present invention discloses a method for unlocking an air conditioning unit. The method comprises: a server receiving first identification information and unit information sent by a mobile terminal, then verifying the first identification information on the basis of the unit information; after successful verification of the first identification information, sending an unlocking instruction to an air conditioning unit corresponding to the unit information so as to perform an unlocking operation on the air conditioning unit. The invention further discloses an air conditioning unit unlocking device and server. The invention unlocks the air conditioning unit after successful verification of the first identification information so as to ensure that a current operator (user) is an authorized operator. The invention thereby prevents continuous failure of an air conditioning unit after adjustment and testing due to a lack of professional training of an operator, error in adjustment, testing, maintenance, or repair methods, or incorrect cause analysis. The invention also addresses issues such as irreversible damage and the like during maintenance and repairs, thereby ensuring the quality of the air conditioning unit.
