Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method and device for storage resource allocation for video cloud storage, used for a management node in a cloud storage cluster; a video-data storage request is received from a client; according to a resource pool identifier carried in said request, filtering is performed to obtain a corresponding assignable storage-node queue; according to an encoder identifier, it is determined whether the request is a first request; if it is a first request, then a destination storage node that may be allocated to a write node is filtered out from said assignable storage node queue according to a load prediction algorithm; if not, then from said assignable storage-node queue, and in combination with said load prediction algorithm and the current number of writes of the storage node in pre-recorded node synchronization information, a destination storage node that may be allocated to a write node is filtered out, then address information of the destination storage node is fed back to the client; using the embodiments of the present application, it is possible to achieve a balanced allocation of the storage load of a cloud storage system.
