Abstract:
A method and device for storing merchant authentication data into a blockchain, and a method and device for obtaining merchant authentication data from a blockchain. The blockchain comprises multiple verification nodes and multiple usage nodes; the multiple verification nodes respectively correspond to various institutions that issue various authentication data. The method for storing merchant authentication data is executed at a first verification node in the multiple verification nodes, and comprises: obtaining the authentication data of a merchant (202), wherein the authentication data is issued by an institution corresponding to the first verification node; and broadcasting the authentication data to other multiple verification nodes in the blockchain, so that the authentication data is verified based on a consensus mechanism, and is stored into the blockchain under the condition that the verification is succeeded (204).
