Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates. The present disclosure relates to a method of a terminal in a wireless communication system and a device for performing same, the method comprising the steps of: receiving system information, including location information related to an area of a terrestrial network, from a base station in a non-terrestrial network; receiving configuration information about an event from the base station; determining, on the basis of the location information, whether the terminal is located in the area of the terrestrial network; and performing the event on the basis of whether the terminal is located in the area of the terrestrial network, wherein the location information includes reference location information and threshold value information related to the area of the terrestrial network.
