A method and a device for establishing a communication connection. The method comprises: a master device sending a broadcast connection request to at least one slave device according to broadcast frequency hopping information and a first timer, the broadcast connection request carrying communication frequency hopping information, the first timer using a different frequency point in each timing duration, the broadcast connection request being used by a target slave device to configure currently used frequency hopping information to be the communication frequency hopping information, and the slave device referring to a slave device that receives the broadcast connection request according to the broadcast frequency hopping information and a second timer; and after receiving a broadcast acknowledgment response sent by the at least one slave device, the master device sending, according to the first timer and the communication frequency hopping information, a connection request to the at least one slave device that sends the broadcast acknowledgment response, and establishing a communication connection with the at least one slave device that sends the broadcast acknowledgment response. By adopting this solution, delays in establishing communication connections between master and slave devices can be reduced.
