Abstract:
A consumption managing device for managing the replacement time of a part to be used in an image forming apparatus for printing a medium through a predetermined printing process. The consumption managing device comprises an analysis unit for acquiring the use of a parts as a basic use of the part expressed by a print parameter as the operation of the image forming apparatus with respect to a predetermined print unit and an operation unit for calculating the number of printed sheets that can be printed till the replacement time of the part with respect to the predetermined print unit by dividing the difference between a life stipulated value stipulated to express the life of the part and expressed by the print parameters and the accumulative use of the part expressed by the print parameter by the basic use.
