Abstract:
A method and device for taking up a long rubber material (R) on a take-up roll (30)
placed on a movement carriage (20), wherein excessive adhesion between each
layer of the rubber material is prevented to enable smooth drawing out and supply
of the taken up rubber material. The long rubber material (R) is continuously
extruded from a rubber extruder and sent to a take-up position, and the take-up
device takes up the rubber material (R) in a spiral form with the material of each
layer alternately inclined in the opposite directions with respect to each other.
During the take-up, a traverse guide causes the rubber material to traverse
relative to the take-up roll (30) of the carriage (20) in concert with rotation
of the roll (30).
