Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting the operating data of an operating unit between said operating unit and at least one receiver, in particular, for accessing and/or exploiting the information in the operating unit, comprising a transmission means between the operating unit and the receiver. In order to facilitate the effective operation of the operating unit, a public network along the lines of the Internet, or the Internet itself is used as the transmission means for transmitting the operating data. The invention also relates to a method for making available the operating data of one or more operating units, whereby the operating data is transmitted to a receiver via a public network along the lines of the Internet or via the Internet itself and whereby the receiver puts the operating data at the disposal of one or more third parties.
