Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging, with an IoT technology, a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services, such as smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, and security and safety related services, on the basis of 5G communications technologies and IoT-related technologies. The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a signal in an STBC/SFBC transmission scheme in a filter bank multi-carrier (FBMC) system characterized by a structure where symbols are superposed on a time domain, in which a receiver receives, from a transmitter, a filter index of a filter to be used by the receiver, and a transmitter transmits, according to the filter index, a reference symbol and a symbol selected depending on a value of interference for the reference symbol, or an STBC/SFBC symbol to a sub-carrier.
