Abstract:
Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a method and device for triggering a speech function. The method comprises: acquiring, by a terminal device, an interface content displayed on an interface of the terminal device; and if an operation mode of the terminal device is detected to be switched to a first mode, converting the interface content into speech information, and outputting a speech, the first mode being an operation mode in which the terminal device is connected to a headset or activates a headset function thereof. The embodiment of the present invention can improve operation efficiency and reduce operations corresponding to a large number of gestures to be learned and memorized by a user, thereby improving user experience.
