Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a service beginning using UWB OWR, and a user gesture input method. A method of an ultra wide band (UWB) device, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a second UWB device, a first UWB advertisement message for measurement of the angle of arrival (AoA) with a third UWB device, the UWB advertisement message being a message for UWB one-way ranging (OWR) and including information about the transmission period of the UWB advertisement message; and determining, on the basis of the information about the transmission period, a mode for identifying a user gesture input of the first UWB device, wherein the mode for identifying the user gesture input can be either a first mode using the UWB OWR in order to identify the user gesture input, or a second mode using both the UWB OWR and UWB two-way ranging (TWR) with the third UWB device in order to identify the user gesture input.
