Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing taxane-based drug-resistant cancer, the method comprising the steps of: measuring an LMCD1 expression level from a composite formed by contacting a specimen isolated from a subject with an antibody, a peptide, a protein or a combination thereof, which binds specifically to LMCD1 protein or a fragment thereof, or with a probe, a primer, a nucleotide or a combination thereof, which binds specifically to a nucleotide sequence coding for the LMCD1; and comparing the expression level measured in the specimen with that measured in a control, and a kit for diagnosis of taxane-based drug-resistant cancer, the kit comprising a diagnostic composition for taxane-based drug-resistant cancer.
