Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for dispersing and mixing particles using electromagnetic waves. According to the present invention, particles are mixed with either a non-cured polymer resin or with a solution so as to obtain a particle mixture, and then electromagnetic waves are applied to the particle mixture so as to heat, and then disperse and mix, the particles. Further, according to the present invention, first particles and second particles are mixed with a nonpolar solvent so as to obtain a particle mixture, and then electromagnetic waves are applied to the particle mixture so as to disperse and mix the first particles and the second particles. According to the present invention, the dispersion uniformity and volume fraction of the particles may be improved by applying the electromagnetic waves to the particle mixtures so that effects of reinforcement and physical-property modification may be maximized through the mixing of the particles.
