Abstract:
A 360-degree image display method performed by a 360-degree video reception apparatus according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving 360-degree image data; acquiring information about an encoded picture and metadata from the 360-degree image data, wherein the metadata includes camera lens information; decoding a picture including a circular target region on the basis of the information about the encoded picture; displaying a display mode selection screen; processing the circular target region on the basis of a selected display mode and the camera lens information, and rendering the processed circular target region; and displaying a 360-degree video generated on the basis of the rendering, wherein the mode selection screen includes an icon indicating a PCI camera mode and an icon indicating a viewport video mode.
