Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of display, and in particular, to a method for displaying an audio track language on a display device and the display device. A user can see both the audio track language and audio track description on a display, so that the user can accurately distinguish each path of audio track, and the switching of the user is facilitated. The method comprises: in response to a first input instruction indicating to display an audio language, displaying, on a corresponding display image of video data, an audio track language and description information corresponding to at least one path of audio data, wherein the description information at least comprises sound channel information and/or a coding format.
