Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for displaying preview images, and a terminal device, these relating to the field of communications, and solving the problem of inconvenience when a user views the differences between preview images which are of a currently photographed picture and which are in different photography modes. The specific solution involves: a terminal device: acquiring a first preview image during photography, the first preview image being a preview image which is of a currently photographed picture and which is in a first photography mode; determining a second photography mode and acquiring a second preview image, the second preview image being a preview image which is of the currently photographed picture and which is in the second photography mode; determining, according to a pre-set rule, a first portion of the first preview image and a second portion of the second preview image; and displaying, in a preview area, the first portion of the first preview image and the second portion of the second preview image. The embodiments of the present invention are used for the process of viewing preview images.
