Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for distributed authentication of a device in an internet-of-things blockchain environment. In the system for distributed authentication of a device, each node: stores information and details about a device at each stage in a Distributed Hash Table (DHT) through blockchain consensus in order to perform authentication in an internet-of-things blockchain environment; requests, to a blockchain network, the control of user access or the authentication of a device, performs authentication by reaching a consensus on the basis of the stored details in the respective nodes, and multi-encrypts a message propagated by a manufacturer, a service provider, a user, and the like. Accordingly, the system for distributed authentication of a device according to the present invention can disallow the participation of counterfeit devices and devices having forged or falsified authentication information, prevent attacks utilizing stolen devices, prevent users from losing ownership, and prevent malicious users from accessing a device.
