Abstract:
Provided is a method for drying crude tobacco whereby crude tobacco including tobacco shreds and a flavoring can be stably dried without being affected by the amount involved nor by the temperature inside the drying tank. This method for drying crude tobacco comprises sequentially detecting a component amount that affects smoking taste flavor for a component in the crude tobacco during the drying process, determining the drying endpoint to be an inflection point of the component amount, and ending the drying process.
