Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for the efficient hydro-conversion of furfuryl alcohol, and a high-dispersion supported Pt catalyst, belonging to the field of biomass catalytic conversion. The use of the high-dispersion supported Pt catalyst belongs to the field of biomass catalytic conversion. The method is performed on-line on a piece of micro fixed bed reaction equipment, and involves, at a certain H2 pressure and reaction temperature, introducing furfuryl alcohol into a gasification chamber of the equipment through a liquid pressure pump, mixing same with a reaction gas, i.e. hydrogen gas, until uniform, and introducing same into a reactor. A Pt-containing metal catalyst is composed of uniformly dispersed Pt metal active centers, and a composite oxide obtained by means of the calcination of hydrotalcite, and the active centers of the catalyst are highly disperse Pt single atoms and Pt atom clusters at atomic level. The advantages of the invention lie in that the reaction can be carried out continuously and stably for a long time, and the Pt and a carrier in the catalyst form a strong interaction. On the single atom Pt, the conversion rate of the furfuryl alcohol is 87%, and the selectivity of 2-methylfuran reaches 93%. On the atom cluster Pt, the conversion rate of the furfuryl alcohol is 100%, and the selectivity of 1,2-pentanediol reaches 86%.
