Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method for encoding a concatenated code, and a method for decoding a concatenated code. The concatenated code takes a polar code as an external code, and takes an ER-LDPC code provided in the present application as an internal code. Also provided in the present application are a method for constructing a basis matrix of the ER-LDPC code, and an improvement policy for a basis matrix. The basis matrix is improved according to the improvement policy, such that a check matrix of the ER-LDPC code can be obtained. The check matrix has obvious external characteristics, can not only improve the decoding performance but also improve the flexibility of adapting to different code lengths and code rates, and has a prominent denoising capability. Furthermore, the polar code is iteratively optimized by means of the ER-LDPC code, such that the overall decoding performance of the concatenated code is improved. In addition, a soft information iterative decoding scheme is used for the decoding of the concatenated code, such that the decoding complexity can be reduced. Moreover, an interleaver is designed between the external code and internal code of the concatenated code, and the interleaver can reduce error transmission caused by burst errors, and reduce the error correlation between the polar code and the ER-LDPC code.
