Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for enriching plant mitochondria by using a grading mesh sieve. The method is primarily based on the characteristics of plant organelles and grading mesh sieves, and uses a combination of mesh sieves having different mesh sizes to selectively grade and filter plant organelles, thereby enriching and extracting plant mitochondria. This method has strong selectivity, targeting and specificity with respect to mitochondrial enrichment. During the enrichment process, the mitochondria are in an isotonic state and are not subjected to severe centrifugal operations and shaking. The extraction process is mild to effectively reduce loss of mitochondria and improves the recovery and wholeness of mitochondria during the extraction process.
