Abstract:
A method and equipment for transmitting user number are involved. The method includes
the following steps. First, the gateway obtains the user number from the user
number memory equipment and keeps the corresponding relationship between the
user number and other user identification information. Then, the gateway transmits
the user number to the corresponding service processing equipment according
to said corresponding relationship. Said service processing equipment can
provide service based on the user number. Therefore, during the implementing process
of the implementation, because said corresponding relationship is kept on the
gateway, andthe corresponding relationship can be transmitted to the service
processing equipment through channel associated signaling, it can be avoided
that the service processing equipment obtains the user number concentratedly
through the user number memory equipment. Then bottleneck of system performance
in the communication network can be avoided. So that the signaling burden between
the service processing equipment and the user number memory equipment is decreased
and the communication performance of the system is improved.
