Abstract:
The present invention: receives, as an input, subtitle data including translated text translated by a sign language interpreter into gloss units via which communication is possible in the deaf culture while directly watching a sign language video; while enabling the subtitle data to be used as subtitles directly on the sign language video, forms folders (keyword name folders) with extracted keywords extracted in gloss units from the subtitle data via text mining, and respectively stores segmented videos in the keyword name folders including the extracted keywords; and then enables the extracted keywords to be selected as subtitles by extracting the most frequently used keywords from the stored keyword name folders when extracting search text from the sign language videos via a video mining technique. Accordingly, a sign language interpreter can be directly involved so as to not only improve the quality of sign language translation, but also further enhance the quality of subtitles via a search for frequently used keywords.
