Abstract:
Provided is a method for conveniently estimating coal surface tension. This method for estimating coal surface tension comprises performing multiple regression analysis of the total inert quantity and physical values representing the surface tension and rank of coalification for a plurality of brands of coal to create a regression formula in advance that uses a criterion variable as the coal surface tension and that includes the physical values and the total inert quantity as explanatory variables, measuring the total inert quantity and the physical value of the coal for estimating surface tension, and calculating the coal surface tension using the measured physical values, the total inert quantity, and the regression formula.
