Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to accurately evaluate the delayed fracture characteristics at a shear end surface of a molded component. The delayed fracture characteristics at a shear end surface of a molded component that is obtained by molding a metal sheet and that is used upon being assembled with another component are evaluated. The present invention is provided with: a first step (1) for obtaining, on the basis of the result of a test provided with a step for installing a metal sheet in a hydrogen intrusion environment in a state in which a load is applied to a shear surface of the metal sheet and restraining is performed, a stress margin with the amount of strain being a variable; a second step (2) for performing a molding analysis of molding the metal sheet into a molded component and obtaining the amount of strain and the residual stress at a shear end surface of the molding component; a third step (3) for obtaining the load stress applied to the shear end surface by assembling the molding component to another component; and a fourth step (4) for evaluating, on the basis of the stress margin corresponding to the obtained amount of strain and the total stress that is the total of the obtained residual stress and the obtained load stress, the margin of delayed fracture of the molded component.
