Abstract:
A method for evaluating the permeability of a hydrate-bearing sediment. The method comprises: obtaining a complex conductivity spectroscopy of a hydrate-bearing sediment; calculating a hydrate saturation on the basis of the complex conductivity spectroscopy; calculating a formation factor by using an Archie's first law or calculating a formation factor by using a complex conductivity real part, a complex conductivity imaginary part and conductivity of pore water; and calculating the permeability of the hydrate-bearing sediment on the basis of a relaxation time in combination with the hydrate saturation, an occurrence mode correction coefficient and the formation factor, on the basis of a polarization amplitude in combination with the hydrate saturation, the occurrence mode correction coefficient and the formation factor, on the basis of a cation exchange capacity in combination with the hydrate saturation and the occurrence mode correction coefficient, or on the basis of an aperture size and a fractal dimension in combination with the hydrate saturation and the occurrence mode correction coefficient. The evaluation method has a wide measurement range, and has low required costs, a measured value of the permeability of a hydrate-bearing sediment can be accurately acquired, and the method has a high rate of accuracy, such that the microscopic porous structure of a hydrate-bearing sediment can be effectively reflected.
