Abstract:
Blood is collected from normal subjects and patients with an allergic disease and a gene showing a difference in expression is searched for by the differential display method. As a result, a gene B1799 showing an increase in the expression dose in the patients is successfully identified. This gene is particularly highly expressed in T cells and its expression is elevated by activating T cells. It is found out that this gene is usable in examining an allergic disease and screening a remedy for the allergic disease.
