Abstract:
There have been acquired RING6 and HLA-DMB which are genes each showing a large difference in expression level in monocytes between a steroid-responsive group and a weakly steroid-responsive group of patients with atopic dermatitis. RING6 and HLA-DMB are genes each showing a decrease in expression level in steroid-responsive patients. A method of examining steroid responsiveness and a method of screening a compound useful in ameliorating steroid responsiveness with the use of the expression levels of these genes in biological samples as indications.
