Abstract:
The present invention provides a method executed by a user equipment (UE), and a UE. The method is a processing method executed in the process of communication between the UE and a base station on the basis of a multi-path communication mode, and comprises the following steps: the UE receives an RRC message from the base station, the message carrying information used for instructing the UE to establish a non-direct connection for communication with the base station via a relay UE, and the message also carrying identity information of the relay UE; upon the RRC message is received, the UE uses the relay UE corresponding to the identity information of the relay UE carried in the message as a target relay UE, and establishes an SL connection or PC5 connection with the relay UE; and in the process of starting establishing the SL connection or PC5 connection with the relay UE, or after successfully establishing the SL connection or PC5 connection, the UE sends to the relay UE a PC5 RRC message carrying the information used for instructing to establish the non-direct connection.
