Abstract:
The present invention relates to a degenerate primer for analyzing bulk metagenome information, and a method and a kit for analyzing metagenome information using the same. The method for analyzing metagenome information, according to the present invention, and a primer set used therefor can be applied to the present invention in order to rapidly determine the utility value of extensive metagenome samples. In particular, a superfamily-specific degenerate primer of the present invention can be used to rapidly determine the presence or absence of genetic information of target peptides in a metagenome by a simple method, and therefore can be used to collect large amounts of useful peptide resource information at a high speed from various metagenome samples. In addition, based on the method of the present invention, it can be used to explore a new peptide gene through design and manufacturing of a superfamily-specific degenerate primer of new target peptides. In addition, the method of the present invention can be applied to research relating to polypeptides, oligopeptides, antibiotic resistant genes, antimicrobial peptides, anti-fungal peptides, oligopeptides, markers, or Single-Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP), as well as enzymes.
