Abstract:
A method for extracting iron from high-phosphorus oolitic iron ore by suspension roasting and removing phosphorus by acid leaching. A fluidized material is treated by high-temperature oxidizing roasting and a large number of cracks thus are generated in particles, destroying the oolitic structure to a certain extent and increasing porosity and specific surface area, and thereby facilitating reduction and leaching; and the fluidized state achieves extremely high mass and heat transfer efficiency. Meanwhile, the reduced material is rapidly cooled so that cracks occur on the surfaces of mineral particles, further increasing the porosity and facilitating subsequent leaching; and oxidation is performed after the cooling so that the reduced artificial magnetite Fe3O4 is oxidized to generate a strongly magnetic mineral γ‑Fe2O3 having a low coercive force, reducing the magnetic agglomeration phenomenon of iron minerals and improving the quality of magnetically separated products. Experimental results show that the iron grade of iron ore concentrates prepared by using the method is more than or equal to 63.00%, the iron recovery rate is more than or equal to 92.00%, and the P grade is less than or equal to 0.20%.
