Abstract:
Provided is a method for extracting lithium from brine by using a powdered adsorbent, which method comprises the following steps: a mixture of an adsorbent and brine being subjected to vacuum filtration in a brine separation zone to form a filter cake; the filter cake obtained from the brine separation zone being subjected to salt-leaching in a salt-leaching zone, so as to obtain high-salt low-lithium salt-leached water; and the filter cake obtained by means of salt-leaching in the salt-leaching zone being desorbed in a desorption zone to obtain a low-salt high-lithium desorption solution. The present invention greatly reduces the investment cost, and by means of the present invention, a desorption solution with a magnesium-to-lithium ratio of less than 1:1 and a salt-to-lithium ratio of less than 10:1 can be obtained, the investment and production costs of the subsequent salt removal and purification processes are substantially reduced, and finally battery-grade lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide can be stably obtained. The new equipment proposed by the present invention can recover lithium ions lost during the salt washing process, such that a lithium ion recovery rate of at least 80% can be reached during the adsorption and desorption process of brine.
