Abstract:

The inventive method for extracting vegetable oils consists in producing oil by a solvent extraction process in a flowing extractor, distilling off a solvent, heating oil meal, spraying extracted material with said solvent and producing a gas gate at the output of counterflow extractor with the aid of extracted material. A pre-extraction is carried out in an immersion type extractor prior to extracting the oil in the counterflow extractor. During the main extraction, the material is additionally sprayed with a solvent which is finely dispersed in the form of fog. Overheated solvent vapours are generated in the counterflow extractor. The material being impregnated with the saturated solvent vapours, is supplied for the additional extraction thereof. The inventive device for extracting vegetable oils comprises a loading column, an overloading unit in the form of the immersion type extractor and the counterflow extractor. Said counterflow extractor is provided with a heating element and main and additional units for supplying the solvent. The loading column is provided with a unit for removing the solvent vapours. The transporting mechanism of the overloading unit and the body thereof form a channel for passing the solvent vapours therethrough.
