Abstract:
A method of forming electrophotographic transfer images, capable of perfectly transferring a color toner image to an object material without causing the colors of the image to stagger and the quality of the transferred image to lower, wherein a repeatedly reusable photosensitive body is employed. A method of and an apparatus for forming electrophotographic transfer images, in which a thermoplastic resin-containing transfer layer is formed on the peelable surface of an electrophotosensitive body in an electrophotographic transfer unit, a toner image is then formed on the transfer layer by an electrophotographic process, and the toner image is thereafter thermally transferred together with the transfer layer to an object material.
