Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for forming an embossment on a natural fiber fabric, and particularly, to a method for imparting resiliency to a natural fiber fabric, preventing the formation of pills, and producing various embossment shapes. Current methods for forming an embossment employ an embossment-forming process using engaged rollers, a denting process for maintaining and fixing a formed embossment by heat treating same, a paper sanding pitching process for texturing the pattern of the embossed portion, a tank dipping process for removing impurities such as dust, and an aero-washing process for removing impurities while drying the dipped material, in order to form an embossment. However, said processes require excessive manufacturing equipment, which increases manufacturing costs. Despite such manufacturing costs, it is difficult to clearly maintain the form of an embossment, and maintaining product quality is difficult due to reduced precision, and the production is costly. Therefore, according to the present invention, after pretreatment with a chemical employing a water-based urethane, drying is performed, and an embossment is formed with a heat embossing roller, after which thermal binding is performed, to enable manufacture using simple equipment.
