Abstract:

The disclosed methods include: a step (K1) that is for forming on a first drum (20) a tubular carcass (6R3) with an attached bead core, and that contains a step (K1a) for causing the end surfaces in the peripheral direction of a carcass ply member (6R1) wrapped once over a first drum (20) to be a zipper joint, forming a tubular carcass (6R2), and a bead core joining step (K1b) for expanding the diameter of the aforementioned tubular carcass (6R2), pushing the tubular carcass (6R2) against a bead core (5) that is inserted in the outside in the radial direction; a step (K2) for sequentially wrapping over a second drum (27) a base tire rubber member (Ga) containing an inner liner rubber member (G10a), forming a rubber laminate (11); and a tubular base tire forming step (K4) for transferring the aforementioned tubular carcass (6R3) with the attached bead core from the aforementioned first drum (20) to the second drum (27), and for pushing the rubber laminate (11) against the tubular carcass (6R3) with the attached bead core by means of expanding the diameter of the second drum (27), forming a tubular base tire (35).
