Abstract:
The invention aims at providing a method for immobilizing polypeptides strongly and specifically; a detection method and a purification method for polypeptides; and a solid support for the methods. A method for immobilizing polypeptides by bonding a polypeptide having an oligocysteine sequence introduced thereinto to a solid support having on the surface of the base groups represented by the general formula (I) through the reaction with the maleimido groups; and solid supports to which polypeptides having oligocysteine sequences introduced thereinto are bonded: (I) wherein R is a divalent hydrocarbon group whose chain has 1 to 12 members.
