Abstract:
A method for improving heat-transfer efficiency of a heat exchanger by forming a water-repellent film on the surface of the heat exchanger, said method being characterized in that the water-repellent film is formed by bringing the heat exchanger into contact with a liquid comprising an acid and a water-repellent-film-forming substance.
