Title:
METHOD FOR IMPROVING SECURITY OF PHYSICAL LAYER IN TIME-SELECTIVE CHANNEL ENVIRONMENT AND TRANSMISSION APPARTAUS PERFORMING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/106613
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for improving the security of a physical layer in a time-selective channel environment, and a transmission apparatus performing same. The security improvement method performed by a processor of the transmission apparatus may comprise the steps of: on the basis of a time channel correlation for a first link between the transmission apparatus and a connected reception apparatus, identifying a connection outage probability that the reception apparatus cannot decode a security message transmitted from the transmission apparatus; on the basis of a time channel correlation for a second link between the transmission apparatus and a connected wiretapping apparatus, identifying a secrecy outage probability that the wiretapping apparatus decodes a portion of the security message transmitted from the transmission apparatus; and on the basis of the identified connection outage probability and secrecy outage probability, determining a second transmission data rate of a wiretapping interference message and a total transmission data rate that is the result of adding a first transmission data rate and the second transmission data rate, so that a secrecy transmission rate relative to the first transmission data rate of the security message is maximized.
