The application provides a method for improving the stability of a low-concentration atropine ophthalmic preparation, as well as a method for preparing the ophthalmic preparation, an atropine ophthalmic preparation prepared thereby and application of the atropine ophthalmic preparation in preparing medicaments for preventing and/or treating vision defects. The method for improving the stability of a low-concentration atropine ophthalmic preparation is characterized in that the total impurity content of the atropine sulfate crude drug is less than or equal to 0.25% and/or the single impurity content is less than or equal to 0.05%.
