Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for indicating the working state of a wireless network device and a wireless network device, which are applied to the technical field of communications, so that the wireless network device can indicate the working state by using a visible light source. At least one antenna is disposed in the wireless network device, and the outer surface of the wireless network device comprises at least one visible light source corresponding to the at least one antenna. The method comprises: obtaining working state parameters of a target antenna, the target antenna being any antenna among at least one antenna; determining light emission parameters corresponding to the working state parameters; determining, from among at least one visible light source corresponding to the target antenna, at least one target visible light source corresponding to the working state parameters; and by using the light emission parameters, controlling the at least one target visible light source to emit light. The described method can be applied to a networking deployment scenario of a wireless network device.
